“CIR Expert Panel says: safe as used in cosmetics.”
The CIR Expert Panel concluded that Magnesium Sulfate is safe in cosmetics in the present practices of use and concentration described in the safety assessment (IJT 37(Suppl. 1):47-54, 2018). A topical safety study noted it is widely used in cosmetic and medicine and demonstrated safety in preclinical and Phase I clinical studies.
